Extensive Damage Reported After Overnight Storm

A powerful tornado struck Claremore, Oklahoma, overnight, causing widespread damage across the city. The National Weather Service (NWS) has initially classified the tornado as an EF2, but upgraded it to EF3 later in the afternoon.
According to initial reports, the tornado touched down around midnight, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Power lines are down across the city, and homes and structures have sustained significant damage.
Officials are currently assessing the extent of the damage and working to restore power to affected areas. No fatalities have been reported so far, but three individuals have been transported to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
