Lady in the Lake: Apple TV+ Limited Series Debuts July 19th

Aspiring Reporter Pursues Justice in 1960s Baltimore
Apple TV+ has announced the premiere date for its highly anticipated limited series, "Lady in the Lake." Based on Laura Lippman's best-selling novel, the series is set to debut on July 19th and stars Natalie Portman, Moses Ingram, Ylan Noel, and Brett Gelman.
Set in the 1960s in Baltimore, "Lady in the Lake" follows an aspiring reporter named Maddie Schwartz (Portman) as she investigates the disappearance of a young girl. The series explores themes of race, gender, and the deep-seated secrets that linger within the city.
The series creator, Alma Harel, and Portman spoke about their collaboration in bringing Lippman's novel to life. "This story is so timely and relevant," said Harel. "It's a privilege to work with Natalie and this incredible cast to shine a light on these issues."
