The qualification round featured a field of 16 teams from around the globe. China, with a strong all-around performance, finished at the top with a combined score of 271.997 points. Japan trailed closely behind, amassing 267.760 points to take the second spot.

Both teams demonstrated exceptional skills in all six disciplines of gymnastics: floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar. China's Zhang Boheng and Japan's Daiki Hashimoto emerged as standout performers, showcasing impressive routines to contribute to their respective teams' success.
