Riot Fest Announces Six New Bands to 2023 Lineup

Iconic music festival Riot Fest has made six additions to its lineup for 2023. The festival will be held at Douglass Park in Chicago, IL on September 15th - 17th.

The new additions to the lineup include Cheap Trick, Turnstile, Hagfish, The Murder Capital, The Damned, and 45 Grave.

These bands join a lineup that already includes My Chemical Romance, Paramore, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails, and Weezer.

Turnstile, Pitchfork Fest Headliners, Join Riot Fest

Post-hardcore outfit Turnstile have been added to the Riot Fest lineup, fresh off their acclaimed performance as headliners at Pitchfork Music Festival.

The band released their critically praised album "Glow On" in 2021, and they have been touring extensively in support of the record. They are known for their energetic live shows, and they are sure to bring the same energy to Riot Fest.

Mike Watt Returns to Riot Fest With New Project

Mike Watt, the legendary bassist for the Minutemen and fIREHOSE, will be returning to Riot Fest with a new project called "The Secondmen."

The Secondmen features Watt on bass, guitarist Tom Watson, and drummer Raul Morales. The band has released one album, "Watt from Pedro," and they are working on a new album that is expected to be released later this year.
